View Full Version : Thruster T600N 1st off the Production Line

I have just been informed that the Thruster T600N G-MZFO that I flew into Askern from Manchester Barton for the Terry Memorial Fly In 2009 and then delivered to Enstone for the then owner has been sold twice since...... I believe it has been identified as the 1st T600N to come off the UK production line. ( I knew it had 001 as the end of the serial number, but didn't equate that as being 'Numero uno' )

That was a cheap purchase for the guy from Enstone and I was sure I recently saw him advertise it on eBay at 4500 as a 'buy it now' ( which was less than he paid for it )

I would have thought being number 1 it would have had a value based on that which would give it extra kudos, well it certainly should be worth a fortune because it has been flown by one of the best pilots in microlighting

Well...... if I ever fly your Goldwing.......that will be 3 microlight prototypes I will have flown !!!! there are a few prototypes in the GA World I have sampled but they don't count in the microlight world

G-MZFO Was not a prototype its a Production aircraft, the first one.

The prototypes were:-
G-MYWD a T600N S/N 9035-T600-511
and
G-MYWE a T600T S/N 9035-T600-512


Just for the Record I own the the damaged airframe G-MZFP T600N , the second production one. Also have G-MZGY here to thats 006 and has just been converted by me at Galaxy to a 582 Sprint.

I actually posted originally as 1st off the production line...... but then it freudian slipped to Prototype by 3rd post ;-)
