Maybe the Forum should put a Flying machine together :layrubber:

Don your pilot goggles, mount your wacky flying machine, and prepare to get wet… Red Bull Flugtag is back!

The world's craziest festival of flight will be taking off in Roundhay Park, Leeds on 17th July 2011. Once again, Red Bull is seeking to find the best in amateur aviation from all corners of the UK, outrageous innovators willing to design, construct and fly their very own man-powered aircraft!

So do you think you've got what it takes to soar through the skies over Leeds in your own wacky design whilst your ground crew entertains the screaming crowds? If so, download a copy of the design manual and application form on April 1st - there is no entry fee, so get your thinking caps on and make sure you upload your daring and downright dastardly Flugtag entry by May 13th 2011.

I'm going to complain to LBA if this goes ahead in their airspace, the wouldn't let me in the other week to take a picture of my house, miserable gits.

I quite agree..... I think I will also notify the BMAA that there are some unauthorised microlights that are not section S or CAA registered going to be flying in the LBA airspace :tease:
Do you know whether that Airspace is a Mandatory Transponder area ? If it is, I am getting my snorkel & flippers out as there is likely to be a few transponders dropping into that pond in Roundhay Park
:grommit:
