Anyone know how much the bag costs that goes on the floor under your legs? Has anyone tried anything else instead e.g. Bike panniers, tool bag? What size space is it? Thanks for any advice...

Thanks Brian, good suggestion. Started looking at batten/baton bags on google which led on to tent poles and finally to what looks like the perfect size bag http://www.fruugo.co.uk/tent-awning-peg-zipped-carry-bag-in-waterproof-heavy-duty-canvas-material/p-1722411?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product%2Bsearch. 10 quid including postage. Looks ideal... Thanks again, Iain

if your doing cross country flying and using a bag in the pod to store things you need, I would recommend drilling a small hole in the bottom of the pod as you might be out in rain, its ok to drill a hole in the pod to let water out, but keep it small say 6mm, you are allowed to drill holes in the pod upto 30mm, best test is poor a bucket of water into the pod, look for the deepest part of water and then drill near a bend in its form, just behind the front wheel and put it in the log book.

Thanks Brian, good point. I think the previous owner had the same idea, which explains the hole! Thanks again, Iain

Ian, That bag looks quite good, but maybe a bit small?

I bought one of these and am very happy with it: http://www.poweredadventure.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=mo_podbag
It fits under the keel and has straps that clip onto the seat frame. Easy to fit and remove and a shoulder strap to carry with.

Ah, I wish you'd posted that an hour ago! Just what I was after..... Thanks Steve, I think I'll get one anyway, I'm sure I can find a use for the other one on the ground! Cheers, Iain

Sorry Mate, only just seen your post.

You'll probably find the other bag will still be handy and small bags seem to fit in lots of spaces, in the nosecone, under the seats etc, bound to be somewhere it'll fit nicely!
