my first aircraft only had one central wheel . the one before that only had a large skid . with a drop off dolly for take off. but hardly used it for fear of it bouncing back up and hitting the fusealarge . tail wheels were for aircraft with an engine . and made life so mutch easyer. :cp:

I've got a Meerkat and a beaver ;-)

Wally, did you post that one in the wrong thread ? Maybe I'm tired :-)

Ey up Vicky,
Don't worry, I know what a 'dolly' is but couldn't resist having a giggle. My nice beaver sits on the dashboard of my car and Viktor is my Kamchatka Peninsula Meerkat who is hoping to join me on expeditions in the Rans. However, for the sake of decency it has been decided that a flying suit will have to be issued to him ;-)

No, we never did.

We didn't manage one for pilot either.

Vince, if you create an award for tail dragging, it has to be something like this:

Ah well, I'm utterly impervious to rejection. 31 years of marriage has strengthened my resolve.
I'm not bitter ;-)

First flew Flexwings in 1985, built a Minimax in 1990, converted on a Super Cub at Clacton, first flew my Minimax in 1991,
Is that three awards there. Flex, fixed and taildragger.
