Has anyone set up cruise profiles for a Quick 912s in SD? My Quick is new to me, as is SD and I want to set up cruise profiles but I donít have any where enough hours (2hrs) to have a clue what fuel is burn is like. I would like to have an idea for burn at; 60/65/70/75/80 mph (I would need an idea on RPM at those speeds too).

Also have you entered anything for Glide Ratio? Iíve entered 7:1 at 46 mph, but not sure where I got these figures from. In fact to go the whole hog, what entries have you made throughout the "aircraft editor" running costs, climb/descent info, any info would help.

Hi Paddy,

I think the cruise profiles you have currently were based on the graph on Page 26 of the GT450 manual:

9074

I havenít yet compared the figures from this graph to my real world usage, but it gave me the following:
90mph 22l/h
80mph 17l/h
75mph 15l/h
70mph 13l/h
65mph 11l/h
60mph 9l/h

The table in your Quik manual isnít quite as detailed:
9075

But does give
60mph 10l/h
80mph 16l/h

So would indicate that the Quik wing is slightly more economical than the GT at high speed and slightly less at slow speed, which makes sense?

I suspect the glide ratio was also calculated based on my GT450, so you should probably change it for your Quik to something significantly steeper!

Any ideas on how to set the weight and balance settings - mine continually tells me I'm outside my acceptable CoG envelope or overloaded
