    PG has settled in nicely in Dorset.
    If anyone wants to claim him Newton Peveril is open to visitors. Nice 400m level strip, 09/27.
    The approach to 27 LH is obliquely along power lines to avoid the villages. Likewise the departure from 09 involves a right hand turn out. I can supply the plate if anyone wants it.

    Thanks Adrian, it's on Airfield Cards.

    Is PG and the cup still there?

    @Adrian Jones
    2.5 years on with numerous members attempts to recover the cup, do you still have it? If so, you should either make that known or ideally relocate it to an airfield where recovery is actually possible, or post it if you are unable to do so.

    To take it somewhere inaccessible to anyone else and refuse to make it available isn't cricket.

    If anyone wants to come to "inaccessible" Newton Peveril to claim the cup I am nearly always available and would be delighted to hand it over. Just post a request here and I will PM you my phone number.
    Rick, I've sent you my contact details in a PM.

    Hi Adrian
    How about taking him somewhere else, during Fly-UK this year?
    I'm sure he would love a trip up to Glenforsa?

    That's a good idea johnny, if no one claims him in the meantime. Nice magazine feature by the way. That must have been before he became a publicity shy recluse.
