    World Record broken

Just spent a pleasant afternoon at Dunkeswell watching Jim Greenshields and the team prep and organise the most aircraft taking off from one runway in an hour. It was an incredible sight and awesome to listen too! Well done everyone. Not official but previous record was 87...well, over 100 took off and it took only 15minutes!!

What a fab day! Saw Russ and Dai there. Hoping to see the full footage from the film crew that were there, so please post it if you see it before me.

Only visible to Richards friends on FB.
The three most useless things in aviation:
    • The air above you.
    • The runway behind you.
    • The fuel in the bowser.

Rule #1: Always tie your aircraft to the largest heaviest object available. The planet Earth meets these requirements and is readily available in all locations.
Rule #2: The great thing about twin engined aircraft is, if one engine fails, the other engine always has just enough power to get you to the scene of the crash.

Semper specto in clara parte vitae.

Should enter that one into the video comp, for 3 year olds.

This is a great achievement and I'm sure will spurn many more copy cats WRs.
I'd have like to have been involved but its way outside the fuel range of my little SSDR to even get to, let alone take part and get home again.
