    The problem is that the air in the UK is totally different to elsewhere. Maybe when a few of them are flying in France we'll be able to let you know what they're like

    Your problem in the UK will be getting anything approved because it won't be on the list of approved props for your engine/gearbox combination. However that doesn't apply here and I've already decided to buy one of the simple two-blade jobbies with steel edge protector for the French Weedhopper that I recently acquired to repair and get back into the air. That will cost me only 287€, less than a used 'approved' prop in the UK, and I'll let you know how I get on.
