Which Android tablet for running nav software

I'm after some feed back on any 7-8 inch Android tablet or phone that flyers might be using to run their nav software. I'm limiting it to smaller devices as I want to mount it to the narrow part if the lower panel on a GTR. Please comment on screen clarity, GPS reception, reliability etc. Cheers

I have had 2 Nexus 7's (dropped the first one). Screen is clear, GPS works and very reliable.

Just do a search on the forum - there have been a few similar discussions recently. Various preferences, including Nexus, Huddl 2 amongst others.

If I am ever on life support - switch me off and back on again - see if that works

Nexus 7 has worked perfectly for me.

Tried this on a HUDL but the battery life is a bit low if the charging lead falls out (which it will do often) and it just froze on a few occasions.

I also use Silvercrest 2600Mah battery to recharge the unit bought from Lidl 6.99e. I use the same battery chargers/backup to connect to my action cams to give 3hours power with zero parasites.

Also using a nexus 7 on top of the panel in my Quik, extremely good in bright sunshine and responsive to the touch during flight.
