    NPPL(m) Mock Exams

    Morning All

I have recently embarked on my NPPL(m) training and while I have purchased the Brian Cosgrove and new AFE Air Law for Microlights, I was wondering if there was anywhere I can get copies of mock exams or maybe somewhere online to do some Q&A's.

I have had a look myself and everything I have found is directed at the usual PPL(A) but very little for microlights.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?!?!

    Many thanks in advance.

    Here's a few suggestions below:

    Books
Paul Dewhurst has written a very good book called 'Microlight Briefing Notes' which covers the syllabus and techniques. http://www.shop.flylight.co.uk/flyli...otes-136-p.asp
Cosgrove (Very good book, lots to read and learn!)

    Online
http://www.totheclouds.co.uk (Useful mock tests which give you a good idea where your heading)
YouTube (This is a fab resource, you can learn so much and see it visualy...problem here is you can spend hours on it!)

    Studyblue
If you like flash cards I found some on Air Law and adapted them with more questions...feel free to use
    Air Law https://s.tudy.it/vtzvf
    Meteorology https://s.tudy.it/a3qjf

    Hope this helps.

    Bruce

Once you get close to solo standard have a few sessions with your instructor at a busy GA airfield with full ATC. Yes you will pay more with landing fees but you will suffer/enjoy the most intense RT sessions which then makes the radio exam an absolute doddle. I trained at EGBJ (Gloucester) which is the 10th busiest airfield in the UK and now have to confidence and skills to land at any airfield and penetrate MATS etc.

Thanks for the advice SSSdu01. I am doing my training at Lee-on-Solent. We are right on the edge on controlled airspace and obviously near to Southampton and Bournemouth so the comms is generally quite busy. Though I will certainly have a word with my instructor about that idea.

The ToTheClouds website is a great resource, although I'm sure when I was using it there was a tiny percentage if questions where I'm sure the answer was wrong.
