    Hello,
Just looking on the P&M website at the Quik/GT450 parts list, it only shows a trim actuator with a 30mm travel Tyco 100k slide pot. Is there another version of the actuator with the multi-turn pot and if so, is it obviously different to the one with the slide pot because I cant see any reference to it in the P&M docs.
    Thanks.

The multi turn potentiometer only feeds the display up front. The TRIM motor works via 2 limiting micro switches.

    Hello

I just bought a QuiKR (912s) with 140h and last week on the first flight I made the speed over trim and it was 80mph instead of 55-60mph that says the user manual. Also note that the trim did not reach the top, it lacked the last line to light up. Do you know what it can be? Next Saturday I will try to tighten the trim rope more.

Thank you and greetings from Spain!!

    Hello again,

This weekend I tried to pull the cord and I got 2.75 inches (7cm). With that the flight with slow trim has been 65-70mph. The next day I will adjust it a little more to reach 55-60mph.

Do you know if it is correct to do so or should I change the cord for a new one?

    Thanks and best regards

With the trim fully off, the base bar should be able to easily touch the rear seat, with the trim in the full on position the base bar should be against the front strut and have a strong resistance against being pulled back (around 20kg load as i remember, but might be wrong!). You can then compare it in these positions to what the indicator is showing, but I wouldn't overly rely on the indicator, and just trim according to speed/rpm required for cruise. These trim checks you can make as part of your inspection routine.
