We tend to like the DGAC and FFPLUM conduct themselves, seems to be a more civilised adult way than some, but then we too, are more adult than some I suspect
Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

That applies to aerobatics in ULMs.
There is no text allowing it, nor any text forbidding it.

Maybe no text Clive, but I don't think mi knickers could take the strain. The "if it isn't forbidden" was relayed to me by a French friend who explained in France its a simple rule of thumb for them regards most subjects. Unless of course, the forbidding goes directly contra their wishes, in which case, they simply ignore it saying its for the EU and not La France

I remember the clubhouse at Montmorrilon where outside was a decal detailing the penalties for smoking on the premises. Within was an ashtray with a seven or eight inch pile of fag ends. I enquired about the discrepancy and with a jerk of his thumb at the decal, Didier replied "That's for the Government, this is for me."

And in Didiers office, and in the clubhouse. In fact, anywhere he bloody well pleased.
But then when you're in the presecence of someone with his experience, you don't even notice

Don't know if they still do it, but Ben Asman and the Flylight lot used to do a regular fly/camp in France. Before I bought my Dragonfly I know it took part. I have seen great footage of Stewart Bond flyinging his Dragonfly over WW1 cemeteries there.
