Cyclone with a homebuilt trike (moved from the wanted section)

Recently purchased an Ace Aviation Cyclone wing. This seems to tick all the right boxes -
    a decent cruise 45-65 trimmable
small and lightweight off the trike
very reasonable mtow for an ssdr machine.
iv cobbled a trike together from various bits I had laying around and as soon as this wind eases off it will be getting a test.
if my numbers are correct it should be a half decent cross country machine.

Sounds good. What engine? Do you have any pics?

I Now have the wing. Its a cracking little piece of kit. Can easily be transported and rigged by one person so that's the first tick in the box.
Using some of Kev Armstrongs numbers from other posts about this wing I think that the trike weight may be an issue now. Taking the wing and some scales to the field today, will keep you updated later.

After weighing the trike and recalculating, I am about 1kg off the mtow without luggage. Hardly a tourer if I can't pack a tent! Various brackets have now been removed for drilling to start lightening the machine. May have to fit thinner rear legs to lose a bit more.

Kevin flies a Cyclone with a 4-stroke B&S engine conversion that he perfected over the years.

Old monopole cut down to new length. Front strut length adjusted. Just got to splice the new pole to the old stub.
