    Curryon Dandown Fly in, Sandown IOW 8TH/9TH July

    You won't be disappointed Dave. Make sure you have a go on Dan's high end Oculus Rift virtual reality system, it's mind bending. It take flight simulation to a new higher level.

    We've managed to assemble a small squadron to descend on the Isle of Wight this weekend, anyone else taking on the huge water crossing?

    The machines were Quiks and a Jabiru, just over 2 hours to get down. On your other thread about Spamfield your suggestion of a stop at Popham is a good one, friendly place with fuel and food and not far for the last leg although there are also a number of microlight fields enroute too.

    it will take me 3 hours i would imagine without headwind i have enough fuel for 4 hours but doubt my bladder with go 3 hours..
