    Post Bosch capacitor 6.7uf

It's that time of year again, sheep out with their new lambs on fresh grass. However I do need to keep them away from the airstrip an an old electric fencer that I found in my dad's shed and had been using for a couple of years no longer has any kick left on it. It clicks away and the light flashes and if I touch the electrodes together there is a small spark but I think it might be worth changing the capacitor. It says Bosch mp 0607 023 093 and is 6.7uf.
Any electrical wizards here able to point me in the right direction to a site on the net to get these?

    Cheers.

Thanks Andy, I'm looking down through them but can't see ones that match Mine. It's really old so I'd reckon they don't even look the same any more and I'm not savvy enough to know what would be a closest fit.
    I'll keep searching

What voltage does it say it's rated at?

I can't see what's on it but maybe you can see something, here is a pic I took. I'll be back tomorrow and have a look again.
Now I'm only assuming it's the big silver one! There are two others as well

Looks like 280v. You could source a 10uF with a min of 280vdc rating.

That set looks pretty ancient, any of the components could have failed at that sort of age. Why do you think it is the big capacitor?

Had another look and it seems I've got a broken resistor? Any ideas what the type is and the resistance value? Maybe I should scrap the lot!

It's a 2.2Mohm (very high resistance) probably used to bleed off charge from the capacitor when the unit is switched off, so there's no danger of shock from a charged capacitor.
The big capacitor is electrolytic and the component with the shortest life span in there, so a good thing to swap.
