    Quantum Training Bars Fitment Issue

Found an anomaly with fitment of Quantum (others?) training bars - given the uprights change angle with the base bar as the wing is rotated in roll; how is this movement accommodated for with training bars that 'lock' the base bar to the uprights in one specific position?

My thought is that the location on the upright has to be able to rotate (in a swinging sense) - which may be why 'some' (not all I've seen) fitments have flat sea sure links inter spaced between the training bar and the upright plastic clamp?

Installations without the 'link' will put a sideways loading on the upright during roll maneuvers - just what is not wanted on a compression strut!

    Correct fitment advice gratefully received.

    Regards
    Paul

Just spoken to P and M on the above and ......

"The attachment of plastic straps (remstrap?) and stainless links to uprights and training bars should all be free to move in order that the positional change of the base bar to upright angle, during roll maneuvers, can be accommodated".
