    Rotax 912s RPM???

Manual says max 5200rpm, Rotax says max 5500rpm. Which is correct?

In my Quik with an arplast prop it was 5,800rpm
But when I fitted a warp drive prop the maximum rpm is now 4,800 rpm ?
    I’m as baffled as you

Gordon, which 'Manual' are you referring to? May I suggest having a look at the Aircraft Data Sheet (BMAA or LAA) for your model of aircraft and cross check what that says?

The maximum engine RPM from Rotax is an absolute limit.

The limits in the HADS/TADS specific to aircraft are to do with noise.

Seems like you guys are not comparing the same thing. Were the props in comparison the same diameter? Were the gearbox ratios the same?
