i use bhpa but they dont cover pilots in training unfortunately. i supose it depends on if you want hull cover or just 3rd party on price . why not give crispin speers a call for a ball park ,i used them while i was training and they seem very good .. there are others but i have no experience of them ...

How? Got a number? Can't find one.

I found the best combination for me (newly qualified, low hours, Thruster) was to get third party cover from Traffords and hull cover from Visicover.

    Hi all,

Apologies for the long post but I noticed a couple of queries earlier in the thread about a phone number.

The Visicover website enables owners to not only quote for and buy their insurance online, but also amend their cover whenever they want, 24/7/365. In addition to providing owners with greater control and convenience, our approach also means they can benefit from lower premiums due to our lower administration costs.

We actively promote Visicover as an 'online' service as we want to ensure owners recognise that to use it, they must have internet access and be comfortable using the web-based functionality we provide. However, we also recognise that occasionally an owner may have a query on how to use the site or some aspect of cover. In these instances, they simply need to email our contact address and we will get back to them as soon as possible. If the enquiry is complex, we may well call them back.

We do not promote a telephone number via the site because we are keen to ensure owners understand the nature of the service as described. I would stress that we do provide a 24-hour claims hotline service for claims notification and management, the number for which is issued to policyholders.

I hope the above is of help but please add a post if there are any queries or drop me a line.

    Cheers

    Bob
