    Hello from Germany (Europe)

    Hello everyone,
thanks for adding me to the Plattform.
I am a German Ultralight pilot (weight shift) and I prefer the <120 kg class. I spent a few months in the USA and built a Zigolo MG 12 during that time. I was even able to teach myself flying that thing but did not get more than maybe 15hours on it before I had to return to Germany.
Here it appears to be difficult for me to get the German 3 Axis licence due to me beeing more on the heavy side of the standard (118kg). So far every school told me that the maximum was between 90 and 95 kg....
however, I guess I was also thinking of getting a PeaBee but again German regulations make it difficult. OS I might end up with an Aeros Nanolight trike which has a German certification.
    CU,
    Thomas

Hi Thomas and welcome to the group.
How much of an issue would it be for you to reduce your weight to 90kg? I'm assuming yo're not 6'6" tall (?) so there would be other benefits.
28kg is a lot of fuel!
