Or you could use XC Soar which, although primarily aimed at the gliding fraternity, I have been using for about 15 years... and it is FREEEEEEEE and I am MEAN!!!

    https://www.xcsoar.org/download/

Couple it with SPINE “Soaring Pilot’s Intelligent NOTAMs Editor"
    Also FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

    http://www.jeffg.co.uk/gliding/spine.htm

for selected area Notam information and display/warnings.

Includes ability to disply FLARM/Pilot Aware type input traffic information.

Easy VFR and Sky demon light.
Using my Nexus 7,Total Commander has to be on the Android device, a free file manager like windows explorer (Play store. idiot proof.)

Save the route on Skydemon light.
Email it to Android tablet as an attachment.
Download it when it gets there.

Open Total Commander to select the downloaded route which then asks "open with" Tap EasyVFR icon.
Start Easy VFR. It tells you the route is successfully loaded.

To use it :menu >load route. Choose the route
The required magenta line is now on the screen!

It took me half an hour first time because it was all new but after three practice goes I can do it in under five minutes.

Moved to "Aircraft Parts" forum as this is useful info. Thanks.
The three most useless things in aviation:
    • The air above you.
    • The runway behind you.
    • The fuel in the bowser.

Rule #1: Always tie your aircraft to the largest heaviest object available. The planet Earth meets these requirements and is readily available in all locations.
Rule #2: The great thing about twin engined aircraft is, if one engine fails, the other engine always has just enough power to get you to the scene of the crash.

Semper specto in clara parte vitae.

You probably needed to download the "Waypoints" file for the relevant country. (UK no idea after Brexit!!)
