    Quik Rewiring

Following a number of electrical issues with my Quik I have now decided to get the aging spaghetti mess professionally re-wired. Any suggestions for mods and improvements that could be made and the same time? I'm thinking off putting in panel mounted fuses and replacing the cigarette lighter socket with panel mounted USB chargers

Your on the right track with your idea's, https://afors.com/index.php?bannerid=81 supply usb gear which are pricey but guarantee no electrical interference.
You could also use panel mounted circuit breakers instead of fuses, a little more expensive though at around 10 each, would also consider good quality electrical wire, once you start you'll realise how rubbish the P&M wiring is.
Coincidentally this advert is on AFORS at the moment reduced to 50, seems good value...

Those USB panels are nice but expensive. I reckon I'll stick with my existing socket as it does not give any interference, but definitely go for the circuit breakers. I've already come to the conclusion that the wiring is rubbish and being an older Quik it has been added to over the years resulting in wires that go nowhere anymore and of dubious quality. Looked at it with a professional and we both came to the conclusion to rip it all out and start again
