Yaesu FTA 450 Lynx nonr powered interface comapabilty

Would anyone know the dip switch settings for the above setup the interface is the none powered type 1995 - 2005

The problem is when the remote PTT switch is pressed it registers on the radio screen but no sound is transmitted! The interface worked ok with an Icom A3 previously.

I asked a man who knows about these things. It seems the DIP switch positions are the same for the Yaesu as for the A3. The issue is in the connections in the plug for the radio.

We sent ours to Lynx and they fitted a Yaesu-type connector for us - you'd have to ask them for a price now it's under new management. Alternatively, there was an article a while back in the LAA magazine about converting the GA-type adaptor that comes with the radio. I'll try to dig it out, though I'm not hopeful due to a recent clean-out splurge. Maybe someone else on here may have a copy of that article.

A mate from our club has kindly made up a new lead (as the old one was perishing but still worked on the A3) and carefully copied the signalling from the interface into a spliced connection to the Yaesu supplied fly lead. So the only conclusion we can come to is the dip switches. BTW was your the none powered one as in the photo?

What about the voltage? Yaesu is 6 to 9v. Icom is 11v.

The radio is powered with a L-ion battery, which apparently lasts for around 12hrs. The interface is none powered type and just uses the power from the headsets.
Recent update - there appears to be a fault on the mic circuit, so sent it to DAC (Lynx) fingers crossed! Although, I also have a Lynx radio adapter for solo flight just need to find a suitable lead to connect to the Yaesu. If anyone has any suggestions they would be most appreciated.
