    Waiting for later

By the way, we went to Sainsburys early shop for oldies and they were giving away their surplus Mothers' Day bouquets (lot).
Years of experience at Antwerp's flower markets led me to choose a bouquet that I was sure would last well and be attractive.
Unpacked it at home and found they'd stickered it with a 25 price tag. Now all I need to do is find that big vase for it.

    Keep well everybody.

If it helps, I did have a horrendous hangover this morning.
Will have to mitigate tonight... by having Adnams Ghost Ship!

    Halibut,

I hope you know Ghost Ship comes in two very different versions. Don't pick the wrong one.

I've got 2 bottles of Newcastle Brown in my cupboard that I have had for about 25 years, they have immense sentimental value and I don't intend ever opening them, but if things got real bad d'you reckon would they go down a treat or just finish me off?

Umm I can't say I'm a fan of Ghost Ship in either variety. Much prefer Southwold Bitter or Broadside.
Living in Norfolk now I am spoilt for choice with good local breweries. Woodforde's is very popular but my favourite at the moment is the Panther brewery in Reepham.
When I was a lad Norfolk was famous for being a real ale desert - everything was Watneys. Glad those days are gone!
