Actually Vince, the fly in is just on the Saturday, with breakfast etc on the Sunday for those that stay over. But it's a friendly strip and I'm sure you'd be made welcome if you elected to toddle down on the Sunday instead. But, there wouldn't be much else happening.
Unfortunately, I've a prior engagment and can't make the fly in during the day, but, I'm looking forward to the 'hangar bash'...

One thing though (seems to be missing from the details I lifted from the Poster etc) - Headon does operate on a PPR basis. Ring 07802 232555 for details.

Due to the bad weather we only had a few aircraft fly in, most were fairly local guys but we did have two in from cottage farm who stayed overnight, sunday not much better so they are staying another evening taking in the local pubs and are leaving monday morning heading eastish.
The evening however was a huge success as most people drove in, a decent weather window for the next years bash has been ordered.

Indeed the evening was fantasic - being a hanger-bash virgin n all.

Amazing to see that amount of people (especially given the weather). The late-evening low level flying was great fun too, although I do not yet have the balls to go as low and as fast (100mph+) as KevT in his QuikR, could only manage 90mph.

    Cheers for the pint Dave!
