    Axis

Can people please tell me what they think the answers are for these, I keep getting them wrong.

If an aircraft is said to be longitudinally stable:

      1. ? It is stable in pitch
      2. ? It is stable in yaw
      3. ? It is stable in roll

    Dihedral will increase:
    1. ? Longitudinal stability
    2. ? Lateral stability
    3. ? Directional stability

      1. ? It is stable in pitch The longitudinal stability of an aircraft refers to the aircraft's stability in the pitching plane
      2. ? It is stable in yaw
      3. ? It is stable in roll

    Dihedral will increase:
    1. ? Longitudinal stability
    2. ? Lateral stability Dihedral is often used as a means to improve lateral stability
    3. ? Directional stability

    Thanks Peter
I think it is too much red wine whilst doing these, must remember not to do that on the day of the exam.
