Revo - insane low level manoeuvres

For me, this has to be the perfect flexwing - A bees knees trike with topless wing design.

    Simply stunning!

Thats the dogs danglies !! Only thing I dislike is the spats, the fin on the spats looks a bit like an after thought ! Several manufacturers have made the same **** up in my eyes, the Quik spat is spot on !!

What trike was it rumoured that P&M were or are thinking of importing ????

If I could have a plane like that I wouldn't be worried about what the spats look like. He's got no shoulder strap - I assume he has some sort of harness!

Your right Nigel, I'm just been picky. Some of the machined alloy parts in the gallery look spot on !

Yep, the price is a bit of an issue. To get a like-for-like machine that nears the performance of my QuikR it would cost 15k more.

But what an Aircraft though eh? The Revo looks amazing.

When I was at P&M the other month I tried to press Roger on details of the “new trike”, but he would not yield any further information.

If P&M could deliver a trike anywhere near the Revo or indeed a Tanarg, I’m sure the orders would flood in.

The Revo Reflex Competition still isnt getting close to the Quik R at the top end, and the Tanargs Bionix is a country mile away !!

Thought you were going rotary Spear !!

P&M just need to stretch the trike, the wings are already there in my worthless opinion !!

    Rotary…., lol, so did I….

Top and bottom of it is I just can’t afford to purchase (and run) a newish aircraft.

Could possibly stretch to a group share in a R44, but these are few and far between.

Even looked at purchasing a Rotorway Exec (kit built helicopter for about 45k), but the maintenance schedule was a little off putting – for every 1hrs flight you need to put in 3hrs maintenance.

So, back to the real world for me. Keep badgering Vince about sorting me out a flight in a Gyro with his mate at Rufford. They look great fun, and (apparently) offer 80% the manoeuvrability of a helicopter.

Love the Revo though, probably the only thing that would tempt me away from the Quik if it was a little cheaper (and of course we could fly it in the UK).
