Still don't get it Vince, I can't think of much worse than sitting in a tin bath with my granny ! I seem to remember she was incontinent !

Why is the Tanarg so much more comfortable ? I don't feel cramped in the Quik ? I don't deny the trike looks roomy and I like that. Does it get thrown around less in turbs, that would be down to the wing I would have thought ? You fly a Quantum Vince, that's a whole lot less comfortable in turbs than either the Quik or 450 (not familiar with Quik R) ! But that's down to the wing not the trike.

Go to Flylight and try it. The seats are like French car seats, soft and comfortable and roomy, the man in the back does not put his legs around the bloke in the front. The bloke in the back can have a map on his knee.

Paul is about 6 foot 5 and his knees were behind me when I tested it.

Yes but enough to make his butt cheeks clench. And getting out... Just airborne, pull in to get the speed up, before pushing the bar to climb out.

What a Granny or a Tin Bath ?

If the new P&M trike did turn out to be a big armchair style trike how much would it be likely to cost extra?

Also do the fat trikes improve performance/economy with all the extra fairings or are they worse than skinny trikes?
The best time to learn to fly was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.

They are if you have got two fat blokes sat in them for more than an hour.....

Heavier, so would expect a slower climb rate, but worth it for the extra comfort and space in my eyes. Never flown a tanarg, but have sat in the trike and it is awesome.

You would think the performance/economy would be reduced, but for comfort its a small price to pay.

I own a BMW 530D sport, its fuel economy isn't great but its performance and comfort totally makes up for it, if it needs fuel just put it in and drive on, the same for the trike, top it up with fuel and away you go in comfort.
