    Finmere Aerodrome

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the Finmere Aerodrome is still operational for microlights and do they still run a flight school there?
Reason for asking is that I am in South Africa and my son is a student pilot who is now in Milton Keynes and the closest microlight school to MK seems to be Finmere. I could be wrong so if anyone could set the records straight I would appreciate it

Yes finmere is still operational and James Mc Cafferty runs his school there - microflights.James is a good chap and gives top quality instruction.

Now for my plug! - Sywell ( northampton)is also close to Milton keynes and we have a well equipped school - www.flylight.co.uk teaching on GT450 / quantum and Eurostars.

    Hi Andy,
I flew into Finmere a few weeks back, first time visit. Great place with good hangars and pilots lounge. Just make sure you PPR. Also understand runway is to be resurfaced?
