    Roger Mole

Just to let you all know that Roger set off in his AX3 for the south of France this morning. He has landed safely at his first airfield in France.
It should be a long trip in the little aircraft with the 503 engine.

That is so exciting, literally taking yourself off to a new life. I'll be glad to know of his safe arrival, as will others here I am sure.

Can we make it a Microlight Forum Flyin to your strip, Bob? Wouldn't that be fab. I can see it now, the sunshine momentarily darkened with
the numbers of microlights joining the overhead circuit .... marshalls at the ready to park them all in neat rows ... enough French beer, bread and cheese for the Polish army.

You are all welcome as long as you are not a member of the WFAeC. The WFAeC leader has caused such bad feeling around these parts that many local airfields don't want them here.
Owners of some of the faster machines might have a problem getting into the 180 meters, but that won't affect slower machines.

Roger has now landed at his second refuelling stop and is reporting poor visibility and low cloud with some lively air. He will be taking off about now and heading for Dave and Amandas place at Wanafly for an overnight stop.

Roger has landed safely at Wanafly. He will be staying overnight and enjoying the fantastic hospitality that they offer all visitors.

Oh the joys of being single, footloose and fancy free, good luck Roger.

What was Roger's 1st point of arrival in France ? He certainly did well getting as far as Wanafly today. ( We scrubbed a Flight from LFHS to The UK today due to mist and dodgy weather ).

Certainly an epic trip in a 503 engined AX3 just as well he got a excellent tailwind.

    Bob T, Isn't 180m a tad tight for a AX3 to take off ?
