    Yes.....just read flyingbrians post....I'll be in the Quik,so a bit of cheap camping and stupidity at sandown sounds just perfect.

    Also if there is a low hours flexwing pilot or a student that is well into their training (and their instructor says its o.k.)

    I'm happy to take you along for half the fuel.

    that's a damn decent offer mate, if there are any students around you would learn a hell of a lot on a trip like this.

    rick moss took me on a trip to ince when i was waiting on conversion training and it was a really good experience as i had never been through controlled airspace or done anything other than the basic training. he even let me handle his (fuel) hose and have a waggle on his joy stick.

    It looks like the Sandown management are now organising a fly-in with camping on Sept 21st.
    As there’s no camping at Thorney, Sandown sounds like the obvious place to head for the night?
    Count me in.
