    Trailers

Can anyone tell me who makes trailers for Micro lights in the UK and if they do closed in ones to double as portable storage?

Does anyone know if a GT450 will fit in a stripped out ifor willams horse box? If so anyone done that and any tips ( yes I know don't put the horse in at the same time !)

    Thanks

    Lee

There's usually plenty of second hand flexwing trailers on afors. Sure there will be one suitable for a gt450. Not enclosed right enough.

I would imagine it would depend on the size of the horse box and whether you want to rig and derig the wing as it is still at least 16 feet in the bag I believe so unless you have an artic truck I don't think it is a goer
I have just built a new trailer for a paraplegic flyer up here for his paramotor and believe me the materials alone were over 400 so not cheap but at least it is a custom build, you could go down that road if all else fails

Sadly there has not been many flexwing trailers on AFOR's recently, I've been looking. Mark at Galaxy Microlights had 3 for sale recently but I missed out in the eBay auction.

If you want an enclosed trailer big enough for a trike then look on eBay for an old BT box trailer. See eBay 121176763466

I have an old Rice double horsebox converted to a trailer, and although it looks big enough, I had to remove the wheel spats, and go slightly diagonal to get a quantum on. They are surprisingly wide actually.

My Alpha needs a trailer of about 6ft wide min...the track is surprisingly wide....I would have thought a GT would be similar....do you need it to transport the trike or just to store it in.

If you have a closed in trailor then you will need one with a 6ft 4 minimum opening and that is really tight. 6ft 6ins would be better.you will need 10ft length and height over 4ft
